The former PPL Building is the tallest building in Allentown Pa. and now also, the entire Lehigh Valley.. At 322 feet, the building has 23 stories. It is located in the downtown area of the city. In 1930, the Building was named the best example of a modern office building by Encyclopedia Britannica, and also featured the world's fastest elevator.
