Description
Baltimore Maryland USA. Fort McHenry is best known for its role in the War of 1812, when it successfully defended Baltimore Harbor from an attack by the British in the Chesapeake Bay on September 13th and 14th 1814. It was during the bombardment of the fort that Francis Scott Key was inspired to write The Star-Spangled Banner, the poem that would eventually become the national anthem of the United States. This is a multi layered HDR. Hence the double image as intended. Note the Flag.

Interesting perspective on the fort - from the southwest point of the "star" (if I've got my bearings right). Excellent work!
