Schlichers Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge located in a tranquil rural spot near the Lehigh Valley Zoo in North Whitehall Township Lehigh County Pa. It was closed to traffic in 2009. Deconstructed in 2013 and Reconstructed in 2014 using many of its original components.
This composite of the bridge shows the original (captured 03-2013) on the right and the newly completed Schlichers Covered Bridge on the left. When I re shot the new bridge in April 2015 I captured it from the same angles using the same lenses at approximately the same time of the day as in my 2013 shots. Merged using PSP digital software.
