Artist's Description

The Blast furnaces are located on the south side of Bethlehem Pa. USA. They are remnants from the past but are now part of the Steel Stack campus and National Industrial Museum built on the site of the former Bethlehem Steel Plant. This 35mm exposure was done in 2004 as the New York investment group purchased the Bethlehem Works site and began to finalize plans.

About DJ Florek

DJ Florek

Komo mai (Welcome) Traveler, Percussionist, History buff, and Photographer. Photography from The Beautiful Lehigh Valley Pa. to the Amazingly Beautiful Hawaiian Islands.. I have found over these past 35+ years, that photography, can sometimes be over complicated as a means to confuse the layman or empower the pro. Therefore I tend to keep things simple. Photography to me is simply a way to capture the moment in a way that pleases thine eyes and exude a mood or feeling. I hope you like what I see and create with my vision. Here on this site, I have mixed in some of my older film shots as well as the more current digital captures. I do not use Artificial Intelligence. Many thanks for your interest in my work, DJ Just...
